Hi, I am Lucie.
I help developer-tool companies distribute, syndicate, and promote their content.
I studied Economics and International Affairs at the University of Economics in Prague. Then life took an unexpected turn, and instead of pursuing a career in international relations, I joined Microsoft in 2015 and began my journey in developer relations. Six years later, I joined Timescale, a Series B database startup, as part of their developer marketing team.
Throughout my journey, I created and executed marketing strategies, led a team of content and event marketers, and produced and distributed content to regional and global developer audiences across numerous channels. The Visual Studio regional event tour was booked out in no time, and the State of Postgres saw a 100% increase in submissions…to name just a few.
I fell in love with content marketing and quickly realized that content exists in many forms, be it blog posts, talk recordings, Reddit posts, or Twitter threads, and there are endless possibilities for promoting it and repurposing it to give old content a new life. Recently, I became intrigued by the influence of AI on how we discover new content and new brands.
I decided to pursue self-employment to balance flexible work and quality time with my little one.
I live in Beroun, a lovely small town west of Prague, Czech Republic. When I am not working, I love spending time with my family, practicing yoga, drinking tea, and reading crime stories.
Why I focus on distribution
My experiences have given me a deep understanding of the challenges of your business.
Content marketing for developers has a creation problem and a distribution problem. Most companies focus almost entirely on creation and neglect distribution, which means brilliant articles get a traffic spike on day one and then disappear.
I fell in love with the distribution side because it is where the real leverage is. You do not need to write more content. You need to get your existing content in front of more of the right people, in the places they already trust. That is what I do.
